Sphaera understands the strengths and weaknesses of existing development
methodologies when applied to CBT development. Good CBT design is a combination
of good training design and good software engineering and therefore we
adopt the best practices from both of these communities.
Therefore we employ a development methodology based on a systems approach
to training (SAT) combined with iterative and incremental cycles of the
design phase. To reduce the number of iterations, our own Instructional
Prototype Library provides prototype CBT courseware units that enable
accurate capture of requirements, accurate costing, rapid development
and a reduction in testing.
